Um nobreak \u00e9 um equipamento el\u00e9trico que fornece energia de emerg\u00eancia quando a energia principal de entrada falha. O nobreak difere de um estabilizador ou de um gerador, pois fornece prote\u00e7\u00e3o instant\u00e2nea contra interrup\u00e7\u00f5es de energia da rede, fornecendo energia armazenada nas baterias, super capacitores ou Fly Wheel (Volantes). O tempo de autonomia da maioria dos nobreaks \u00e9 relativamente pequeno (apenas alguns minutos ou horas dependendo do modelo), o suficiente para que se possa iniciar uma fonte de energia reserva como um gerador, ou desligar adequadamente o equipamento protegido.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>Por contar com bateria interna ou externa, os nobreaks impedem o desligamento inesperado dos itens conectados, o que ainda contribui para preservar a vida \u00fatil dos equipamentos e a disponibilidade de tempo para voc\u00ea salvar seus arquivos, finalizar alguma outra atividade importante ou manter equipamentos cr\u00edticos em funcionamento, por exemplo.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>A primeira coisa que voc\u00ea precisa ficar atento na hora de comprar um nobreak \u00e9 verificar se ele \u00e9 monovolt, bivolt. Caso o nobreak seja monovolt, voc\u00ea deve lig\u00e1-lo apenas na rede el\u00e9trica 115V ou 220V, de acordo com a indica\u00e7\u00e3o, para n\u00e3o danificar o aparelho. Para simplificar, vamos explicar de forma resumida cada tipo de pot\u00eancia:<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_animate_when_almost_visible wpb_fadeInLeft fadeInLeft wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-6 vc_row-631f473416d7d\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"vc_empty_space\"   style=\"height: 10px\"><span class=\"vc_empty_space_inner\"><\/span><\/div>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>\u00bb A pot\u00eancia medida em\u00a0<strong>VA<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e9 chamada de\u00a0<strong>pot\u00eancia aparente<\/strong>. Ela \u00e9 a pot\u00eancia total, a soma da pot\u00eancia ativa e da reativa, consumida pelas cargas dos equipamentos.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bb A pot\u00eancia medida em\u00a0<strong>W<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e9 chamada de\u00a0<strong>pot\u00eancia ativa<\/strong>. \u00c9 ela que de fato ir\u00e1 realizar o trabalho e determinar a efici\u00eancia de um equipamento.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bb A pot\u00eancia medida em\u00a0<strong>VAr<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e9 chamada de\u00a0<strong>pot\u00eancia reativa<\/strong>. Ela \u00e9 uma parte da pot\u00eancia que circula entre a carga e a rede el\u00e9trica. Ela n\u00e3o \u00e9 consumida e n\u00e3o realiza trabalho, por\u00e9m contribui para o aquecimento dos condutores e pode sobrecarregar fios, transformadores, nobreaks e geradores.<\/p>\n<p>A partir desses componentes, encontra-se tamb\u00e9m o fator de pot\u00eancia (FP). Ele \u00e9 a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre as pot\u00eancias ativa e aparente, sendo representado como FP=W\/VA. Por exemplo, um equipamento com 500 W e 1.000 VA tem o fator de pot\u00eancia de 0,5, pois ao dividir 500 por 1.000 o resultado \u00e9 0,5. O valor do fator de pot\u00eancia de qualquer carga varia de zero a um. Uma carga com fator de pot\u00eancia igual a zero n\u00e3o realiza nenhum trabalho, por\u00e9m h\u00e1 corrente circulando entre todos os fios e transformadores. Quando o fator de pot\u00eancia \u00e9 igual a 1, toda a pot\u00eancia \u00e9 consumida pela carga.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Para representar esses conceitos, pense em um copo de chopp. O l\u00edquido amarelo \u00e9 a parte que realmente interessa quando se est\u00e1 com sede, pode ser comparado \u00e0 pot\u00eancia em watts. Por exemplo, em um cen\u00e1rio com um computador de 65W e 130 VA, um modem de 5W e 10 VA, e uma TV smart 40\u201d de 100 W e 200 VA, o total de pot\u00eancia seria 170W e 340 VA. A partir desse total de carga, deve-se buscar por nobreak com capacidade para atender um valor maior. Uma vez detectado, o nobreak atua, alternando do modo Rede\u00a0 de opera\u00e7\u00e3o para o modo Bateria, que permanece ativo enquanto a rede el\u00e9trica estiver fora dos par\u00e2metros adequados de energia. Essa mudan\u00e7a entre os modos de opera\u00e7\u00e3o pode durar at\u00e9 8ms, mas por ser impercept\u00edvel para a maioria dos equipamentos, eles continuam funcionando normalmente, sem desligar.
